Unity Loft develops new social and affordable homes combined with vibrant shops, restaurants and workplaces.

Inspired by great architecture and driven by modern innovation in construction, we are focused on transforming forgotten and unloved spaces across Scotland into thriving neighbourhoods where people can live, work, relax, and play.

2. Our Mission

It's really simple:

Create new communities where people can live, work, relax, and play.

We are a socially focused property developer, looking to make a difference in the towns and cities across Scotland.

Inspired by urban regeneration in other regions, we feel there is a lot we can do to help build great new communities.

We look to find opportunities to develop new places combining affordable homes to rent and buy with places to shop, eat, drink and work.

We know from a lot of examples that towns and cities need investment to stay relavent for the people who live there. Sadly, too many areas in Scotland haven't had the investment they need and we want to play a role in changing that.

As well as addressing the chronic need for more affordable places to live, we also need communities and neighbourhoods to thrive. That means making sure people have access to the shops, services and essentials they need close to home. That doesn't sound like a luxury to us, just good common sense.

We want to empower people to live more locally and have greater autonomy over their time and daily needs. That doesn't sound like a luxury to us, just good common sense.

It's early days for us as investors. We are working to develop our first new sites in Dundee, Perth and Glasgow. Watch this space for updates. We've set ourselves the challenge to create brilliant new communities. So how do we do that?

We look at every opportunity through three lenses:

Will this development help to build a new community?

Can we build homes or apartments which are affordable to rent or but and low cost to run?

How can we use great design to make this a place people love?

We can't do this on our own.

We need partnerships across public and private sector for this to work.

We are always on the look out for like-minded companies, local authorities and housing associations to collaborate with.
